How can I explain this:
Did you ever hear "per l'ennesima volta" which is for the nth time where n stands for an undetermined number?
Here I think instead of line 1 (so you would have 1st line), they have line V so its line V but in a pseudo numerical order.
How awful it sounds.
Maybe someone who does mathematical and scientific can step in her.

Did you ever hear "per l'ennesima volta" which is for the nth time where n stands for an undetermined number?
Here I think instead of line 1 (so you would have 1st line), they have line V so its line V but in a pseudo numerical order.
How awful it sounds.
Maybe someone who does mathematical and scientific can step in her.

Explanation:
I agree with Angela; if ennesima = nth can be taken as example, then we would have V-th etc. according to your text, where presumably V and the other letters would be at some stage replaced by numerical values...
