Italian term or phrase: Scuderia
La Scuderia Ferrari...
Philip
Ferrari Racing Team
Explanation:
Scuderia si usa, oltre che per i cavalli, anche per le squadre automobilistiche. Se fai una breve ricerca in rete, come ho fatto io, ne trovi di tutti i colori (Scuderia Bresciarally, Scuderia Italia Sportscar...) Per quanto riguarda l'inglese "stable" e' usato davvero solo per i cavalli.
Per questo ti consiglio di usare la frase indicata sopra.

Thank you. I guess I'll just have to settle for something simple after all. It's for use in a spy novel so I think we can alternate the Italian word and the English one to get the original meaning across. Hello to everyone!

It's a play on words...

Explanation:
As Ferrari has the "cavallino rampante" or rearing horse as its logo, they tend to talk of their range of products as a scuderia or stable.
I think others usually say their "gamma" or range.
As you don't give any context, it's hard to make a decision on whether to explain the bon mot or just call it "the Ferrari range"

Explanation:
I might be wrong.... but is "team" so different from "range"??

Hope it helps.

Explanation:
Just wanted to say that I agree with Paola (being a Formula 1 fan)
- however it's interesting that my dictionary (Zanichelli) also gives
" (autom.) racing stable."
- personally I have never heard 'stable' being used in this context!
