property destination Explanation: Good morning (for me!). I checked Microsoft Glossary and my version of Word. In the glossary I found no translation for "destinazione delle proprietà" but I found proprietà always translated as properties (property) and destinazione always translated as destination. use Explanation: I have come accross the term in the context of leases where it means "use of the property" in the sense of the permitted use the tenant can make of the property. In the context of succession law it can mean devolution of the property in the sense of which beneficiary ends up getting it. I don't know how all this fits into your context I'm a lawyer who translates legal documents from Italian to English morning, noon and night. |

...in the Destination field, in the Properties window Explanation: I think "il campo Destinazione delle proprietà" has to be read as 2 separate things, not as a phrase. With the little context provided, I understand it to mean: "Type in the command line in the Destination field (or text box), in the Properties window(or tab, or sheet, or dialog box)" In more accurate Italian it could read "digitare il comando nel campo Destinazione, all'interno della scheda Proprietà" (In Windows, the Property window is what you get when clicking, for instance, with your right mouse button on a printer name, in the printers setting window, and then choose the Property/Proprietà command.) 13 yrs in sw business |

in the Target field, in the Properties window Explanation: on second thoughts following my earlier suggestion, Destinazione is often used as a translation for Target, rather than Destination. The interpretation I provided earlier stands, i.e. destinazione delle proprietà is to be read as 2 separate items: type in the command line in the Target field (or text box)in the Properties window (or screen, or tab, or dialog box). I think "comando" here might stand for a URL command line, something like http://etc., or mailto://etc, or similar. In this case, Target is the correct term for Destinazione. |
