flighted chain
Explanation:
Hi Elena
I'm afraid I hadn't seen you query so it's almost certainly too late. This is called, for example, a "flighted chain" although there are other terms in use in the industry. It's a conveyor ochain with vertical projections, called, variously, flights, dogs, fingers, etc. designed to provide positive evenly-spaced feed of the conveyed product.
