cable tray
Explanation:
This word has been driving me demented for ages - I know exactly what it is but I can't find an English equivalent I'm happy with.
I just did a search and CAVET the cable manufacturer calls it a "cable tray" so I did a search with "cable tray" and I got quite a few applicable results.
One glossary (GLAUDIO) defined it as:
Passacavo - guarnizione di gomma con sezione ad H che protegge un cavo elettrico dall'abrasione contro la lamiera nell'attraversamento di una paratia e contemporaneamente ne assicura l'ermeticità.

I strongly suggest you stay away from fairlead in your context as everyone from Marolli onwards gives it as a MARITIME context and is onky applicable to boats, ships, docks etc.

Good luck on this one Fiona...
