Italian to English translations [PRO] Art/Literary - Transport / Transportation / Shipping
The text refers to the use of this 'vehicle' in Italy. I was thinking of "travois" (used by the native Indians) as opposed to 'sled'. Any better ideas out there?
Have found exactly the same contraption described as a 'sledge' in "Travel in the Ancient World" by Lionel Casson, so I'm sticking with that. Thanks to Nedra and Caterina for their help!
