Le texte en question traite des instructions de pose d'un carrelage au sol :

La prima cosa da fare è quella di misurare accuratamente l’ambiente e pianificare lo schema di posa per evitare di dover fare dei tagli troppo stretti.
E’ preferibile adottare uno schema di posa centrato rispetto alla stanza, in modo da avere piastrelle tagliate su tutti i bordi, piuttosto che trovarsi a dover realizzare strisce di pochi centimetri.
E’ necessario controllare che il vecchio pavimento o il sottofondo siano livellati.
Bisogna utilizzare una riga di almeno due metri per verificare che non ci siano zone fuori livello di oltre 3 mm su 2 metri, oppure di 1 mm su 20 centimetri.
Gli avvallamenti devono essere riempiti utilizzando una malta livellante. Se ci sono dei rilievi devono essere rimossi. Le *stuoie* hanno uno spessore che va da 1 a 3 mm e sono in grado di compensare piccoli dislivelli.

Je ne suis pas certaine de comprendre *stuoie* ici, s'agit-il de morceaux de feutre pour combler les différences de niveau ?
Quelqu'un connait-il le terme équivalent en français ?
