Explanation:


Un circuit comporte une dérivation quand entre deux points le courant peut suivre deux chemin différents. Les points où la dérivation s’effectue s’appellent des nœuds ou bifurcations.

Les portions de circuit sans dérivation comprises entre deux nœuds s’appellent des branches. Les dipôles qui sont montés dans une même branche sont montés en série.

La branche du générateur est appelée branche principale du circuit.
