Hoepli erklärt dazu "Motivo ornamentale a forma di baccello vegetale stilizzato"

Zingarelli "Elemento decorativo, a rilievo o incavo, ottenuto dalla stilizzazione del baccello vegetale."
Das zweisprachige Wörterbuch gibt zu "baccello" in diesem Zusammenhang "Eierstab", aber das überzeugt mich hier bislang nicht wirklich. Hat das unter den KollegInnen vielleicht schon mal jemand gehabt und könnte mir noch eine Alternative dazu nennen.
