Explanation: My husband (Italian teacher at a school for translators) tells me: sopita=besänftigen contesa=Streit ira=Wut German is a foreign language for me, so I cannot suggest a good translation, but the meaning is the following: Translated literally: The rage of their fight having lessened, (the warriors?) rested their swords on the wall.
