Nel frontespizio di alcune relazioni tecniche già tradotte, il termine italiano *cartiglio* viene resa con *Plankopf*. Leggendo la definizione di *cartiglio* però, non ho trovato alcun riferimento che possa giustificare la resa del termine con *Plankopf*. Che cosa mi sfugge?

ho trovato anch'io in un glossario di un cliente "cartiglio" tradotto con "Plankopf", quindi, se è presente nella tua pretraduzione, non so se lo cambierei. In inglese si rende con "title block"

title block "Area on a drawing sheet that identifies the owner, includes a description of the drawing and provides other relevant information".

in altri glossari cartiglio è tradotto come "Schriftfeld" (che mi sembra pertinente) o come "Titelblock"
