2.4 Stabilizzazione parziale
Come già ricordato al capitolo 10, per operare in condizioni di sicurezza, è di importanza basilare che le travi di stabilizzazione siano ruotate ed estratte nella misura riportata nella tabella dei carichi massimi. Pertanto è necessario che le superfici di appoggio sulle ***travi scorrevoli*** siano concordanti, in modo da garantire il trasferimento della forza trasversale tra le travi di stabilizzazione.

In questa configurazione facoltativa della macchina sono consentite posizioni intermedie di stabilizzazione ottenute con le travi base non ruotate (parallele al carro) e le travi terminali completamente ritratte oppure con le travi base ruotate e le travi terminali completamente rientrate.
