Italian to Portuguese translations [PRO]
Italian term or phrase: l'orgoglio di essere una squadra
Hello Portuguese-speaking folks
I translate from Italian to English, but a customer of mine (advertising agency) has asked me if I can recommend someone to work into Portuguese. Unfortunately, the request comes with the urgent need for the translation of the above phrase into your language - and they were unable to specify whether it was for Portugal or Brazil. Hmmm. The phrase appears on a promotional calendar published by a motorcycle maker, captioning pictures of motorcycle models alongside some racing events. I'm afraid I won't be able to judge the most suitable answer, but I will certainly forward contact details of anyone who cares to reply.
Thanks in advance
Derek

O orgulho de ser uma equipa
Explanation:
I think the above translation can fit your needs in either Portugal or Brazil. However, in Brazil they sometimes translate sports team as "time" due to the obvious English influence. The problem is that the word pun will no longer work in that case.
I think my suggestion will work either way.
