alburno s. m. [dal lat. alburnum, der. di albus "bianco"]. - (bot.) La parte più esterna, e quindi più giovane, del legno degli alberi e arbusti.

pernice (...) 3. Occhio di pernice, callo dei piedi, di forma tondeggiante e molto doloroso, che si forma tra dito e dito.

Con estas definiciones y un poco de fantasía parece ser una superficie rugosa con nervaduras y vetas por lo que se me ocurre algo como superficie veteada/ con nervaduras, o también textura rugosa/con apariencia de madera.

Aquí hay algo más; tal vez no sea nada de lo que he dicho, pero algo de esto a lo mejor podría ayudar en la búsqueda:

Flameado / Slubby: ver Batanado.

Batanado / Fulling: proceso donde los pelos de la lana quedan unidos unos a otros, en masa compacta, dejando su superficie suave y más o menos velluda; aplicada en telas de lana y algodón.
