これは日本全土、ことに南島から瀬戸内海沿岸地方に広く行なわれていた「浜降り」「浜遊び」に
属する民俗慣行である。詳述は避けるが、高砂にはこの他「土用の丑の尻つけ」など民俗学上興味深
い行事も行なわれていた。一つだけ引用しておこう。
土用の丑は尻をつけに行かんと尻がくさるいうて、必ず家内中で夜でも浜へ行きました。 (河村

: 私は聞いたことがありませんが、だからといってないわけではないでしょう。このような民俗的行事は、かつては日本のあちこちに存在したものと思われます。このウェブサイトも信頼のおけるものだと思います。
