Japanese to English translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting / Hairstyles
Japanese term or phrase: 五六歩ぐらゐに切り額にさばきながし
Can anyone help with a suggestion for the meaning of this phrase?

It is from an 18th century text on women's hairstyles. There is an archaic hiragana here (I think it is "wi").
