Japanese to English Tech/Engineering Automotive / Cars & Trucks Engine components

Easy-balance crankshaft??
Each-balance crankshaft??
I didn't get any matches for either one of these on Google.

I hope someone knows!

Thanks.

individually balanced crankshaft

As far as I found, "individually balanced crankshaft" is the most plausible one. The reason why my confidence level is low is "each balance crankshaft" seems to be a kind of Japanese English, although "individually balanced crankshaft" seems to be a true English term. Both of them are coined individually, so the meanings might be different.

The meaning might be that "Counter weights" are mounted for each sylinder individually, but it's very common style of balanced crankshaft and I can't imagine necessity to call the crankshaft differently.

http://www.kurumade.com/garage/yougo/output/Worda5afa5e9a5f3...
Crankshaft balancing is the term commonly used to describe changes made in the “counterweights” of the crankshaft (and other components in some cases) to compensate for the weights of the moving components including the crankshaft and the components attached to it (connecting rods, pistons, etc.).

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Although I agree with Humbird's explanation, Shellfrozen's "individually-balanced crankshaft" sounded the best to me in English. Thanks, everyone."

Each balance crankshaft

As you know crankshaft is composed of cranks whose number is equal to cylinders, thus one rotation of the main shaft is converted to one rotation of engine. Because this has vital connection with engine, and engine's combusion requires high speed of rotations, crankshafts' balancing capacity is quite important for the car's stability in motion. It is for this reason parts manufacturers have to craft crankshaft that is capable of balancing (stabilizing) the effects of high speed of the engine.
I believe in this case the manufacturer has invented a mechanism in which each crankshaft has more balancing capability.
See below site.

Good luck!

agree Derek Newpor (X) : late response due to being away but i feel 'indiviual balanced crank shaft' is most appropriate

Counter-balanced crankshaft

Just a guess, but it sounds like this could be the English equivalent of the source Japlish.
I also found Google references to:
fully-balanced crankshaft
semi-balanced crankshaft
half-balanced crankshaft
