From a document talking about the strengths of an insurance company. This is supposedly a strength area of one of the companies. I appreciate your input.

English translation:The automobile-related industry as a sales channel of insurance products
Explanation:
I think it refers to the auto manufacturing industry and the auto maintenance industry as intermediaries to sell the insurer’s products.

This channel will probably include industries dedicated to the maintenance of automobiles following delivery to the end-user, such as repair shops and motor fuel filling stations. So it is not limited to the automotive/automobile industry that designs, develops, manufactures, markets and sells motor vehicles and the likes.

mortar channel (brick-and-mortar retail channel)

Explanation:
More context would be better, but is there a chance that the text compares this company to online sales?
A "brick and mortar" company, or retail model is where there are actual stores, offices where people can see and touch the products, or discuss services.

The other possibility is that they are saying "motor channel" referring to the automotive industry, perhaps highlighting their strength or market share in that segment of the insurance business.
Again, more context would be helpful.

Notes to answerer
Asker: That's a really good question. This is an insurance company, I'm not sure how that would apply. In fact, since it's being compared to another company that is only "non-life insurance" related, it can be deduced that this one is not non-life insurance related, but that's about all the context I have for this phrase.
