| 現状回復費用 Damage fee Explanation: I don't really have a term, so I stated this as a note, but who am I to turn down a request, so here it is. The deposit in the US is called a "damage deposit", so I concocted the target term. You may be able to run with it. It appears to be in wide use in Japan. It does mean "return to original (current) condition". In the US, the landlord would take a deposit, which would be applied to any necessary repairs or cleaning, then the different is refunded to you. |
