Note-> This is my translation reading the sentence. For some reason, my mind wont let me read this as anything other than past tense, but I think that's because I'm assuming some additional context. Hopefully this will give you some ideas of how to translate should my tense / context be unsuitable. Also note that I am unclear on the exact use of "1999年を境に衰退し", so Id welcome a more certain answer to Kurt's question. |
