Japanese term or phrase:押えコンクリート
This question has been asked before, but any new Ideas
Here is a site with lots of photos and the last part is about "打ち終わ" or finishing the pouring of the concrete. http://blog.goo.ne.jp/owen-yuka/e/d17d7f12df02a4e6c6037a809d...
PS: About two hours after the concrete pouring work was finished, the skies suddenly opened up. It was a true cloud burst. We can just hope the concrete will be OK.
Since 押えコンクリート is 打つコンクリート (poured/placed/filled concrete) that is also a 軽量コンクリート, I am describing it as "lightweight protective placed concrete /lightweight protective poured concrete."
