number of teachings Explanation: In robotics, automation, when machinery is able to perform certain preprogrammed actions, the term teaching is used to describe the process by which the machine is "taught" the exact dimensions, length etc. of the workpiece or the area where it will work after the "teaching". It is like calibration. I don't know whether in your text ティーチ本数 refers to the number of different "programs" the machine needs to learn, or some sort of counter how many times it was (needs to be) recalibrated.
