Japanese to English translations [Non-PRO]
Japanese term or phrase: 壟断する(ろうだん)
This term originated with Mencius based on an idea that he had. But unfortunately it is in no J-E dictionary so I used various J-J dictionaries and the best english translation I can come up with is "to horde"
and the context in this case was 「国家を壟断するもとになる統帥権」
If anyone could be so kind as to let me know how off I am I would greatly appreciate it.
best!

Much obliged for the confirmation. I firstly misspelled the word that I translated 壟断 as.. I spelled is "horde" but I meant to spell it "hoard" Thanks for the quick reply, sorry for my slow one. I'm not too good at this internet thing.
