I basically agree with the people who posted references earlier. Even on the ProZ screen, the details of the letter 置 is simplified, because the display cannot handle the details, you see?
This is what this sentence seems to be referring to.
電子計算機 may mean a computer, depending on how old a document you are translating. Normally it should mean an electronic calculator, but 20 or more years ago, computers were called 電算機 or sometimes 電子計算機 by some. So in that sense a part of my answer may be wrong. That's why I put ?.
