Japanese term or phrase: Long sentence
Gの画像領域(30cm幅)の最小値が最大値の50%未満の連続した画素が100画素未満のとき、Dust in Optics、100画素以上の時Film in Opticsエラーとなる。

I have trouble understanding the first part of the sentence:
「Gの画像領域(30cm幅)の最小値が最大値の50%未満の連続した画素が100画素未満のとき」

My best guess so far is:
"If the image area of G (30cm wide) has less than 100 continuous pixels with a minimum value less than 50% of the maximum value, then ..."

Is this correct, or what is it trying to say?

English translation:It's OK
Explanation:
There're three options:
1) All the pixels have such values that exceed 50% of the maximum one -> Normal.
2-1) Some of the pixels have such values that is less than 50% of the macimum one and the length of such pixels is under 100 pixels -> Dust in optics error.
2-2) Some of the pixels have such values that is less than 50% of the macimum one and the length of such pixels is equal or over 100 pixels -> Film in optics error.

G means 'green' here by the way.

neutral  Maynard Hogg: Cipher's muddled English matches the garbled Japanese perfectly. Is a RUN of two such pixels supposed to be an error?
