Japanese term or phrase:建家 (tateya?)
In a set of specifications for installation of factory equipment, sometimes a 建家 (tateya?) is required. The only thing I can imagine it might be is an on-site office.
Explanation: "tateya" isn't listed in any of my J-E dictionaries, but Kojien has two definitions: "tatete aru ie" (a built house) and "kenbutsu" (building). So it seems to me that "building" would do fine.
