Korean to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical (general)
Korean term or phrase: 야기
The term "야기" appears in a test report (skin reactivity) on a medical device, e.g., "유도일 및 야기일," "야기 투여후", "감작야기," etc. I can't get "cause" to work in any of those phrases and wonder what I'm missing.
Thanks.

reaction

Explanation:
I'm not certain what the best medical term is, but 야기 would refer to the exhibiting of symptoms (in this case, a skin reaction). So, 야기일 would be something like "outbreak date" or "reaction date". 야기 투여후 sounds like a reference to a certain point in time after administering the agent for the purpose of inducing a reaction. 감작야기 would be a reduced reaction, and 유도일 would be the date on which a reaction was induced. I guess the actual reaction though could come a certain number of days later (which would then be the 야기일).
