Are you 100% sure this a disease name, because I wasn't able to find it anywhere as such.

On the other hand, the primary meanings of each of the two words make me suspect that it might signifiy something else than a disease.

Thus, "vitriol" means:
1. any of various glassy metallic sulfates, as copper sulfate or iron sulfate. 2. oil of vitriol; sulfuric acid. On the other hand, "debris" is 1. the remains of anything destroyed; ruins; rubble. 2. Geol. accumulated loose fragments of rock.

I didn't mean to insult you knowledge level of English with the Webster's defitions, especially since I'm not actually giving an answer, I'm only raising a point and give you and my fellow translators some food for thought.

Are you positive it\'s not \"vitreous debris\"? This is a term related to cataracts and possibly other opthalmological diseases, which means \"deseuri vitroase\", that is, floating particles (usually resulted from the degeneration of the membranous attachment of the vitreous body to the optic nerve and retina early in life). They result in spots seen by adult patients.
