Latin term or phrase: Blandus fons...
From Boccaccio, but I only have it in Latin.

Blandus fons est apud Senam Juliam, aquam abundans et qui opportunitatibus incolarum copia sua blandiri videretur, Blandii nomen consecutus est.

Thanks!

There is a charming fountain ...
Explanation:
There is a charming fountain near Sena Julia, with abundant water and which is considered by the inhabitants to flatter with its fullness, the name of Blandius derives from this.

This is at best a rough indication of what is said. But it is something along these lines. There is a triple play on words with Blandus - blandiri - Blandii, which I am not attempting to render. There is a play on meaning, with the chime of sense between abundans and copia. I forgot my Latin too long ago to be sure what the character of the language is (classical / mediaeval) is, and whether my difficulties with it come from my forgetfulness or from possible corruptions of the text.

But it´s a lovely little sentence.
