Explanation:
2 words or 1 word? if it's one word, delphinium, it's the name of a flower.

Tall Wood Larkspur
or
Mountain Delphinium
Delphinium occidentale

The name "delphinium" means "dolphin flower", because of the shape of the bud. This plant grows three or four feet tall, and is very beautiful and showy. It has dark purple blossoms.
Another species, the Low Larkspur (Delphinium nelsoni), grows lower down on the foothills. It is a smaller plant. Its blossoms are similar, but are a lighter color. Both species are poisonous to cattle.

larkspur

Explanation:
It should be one word - at least if it is to have a meaning, but then who says that an email address must?

A delphinium is a flower. Its Latin name, which is derived from the Greek word for dolphin, due to the flower's resemblance to a dolphin's head, is in common use among those who are interested in gardening. At least I knew it from my Agatha Christie reading.

Nevertheless, it does have an English name: larkspur. There are the Tall Larkspur, the Low Larkspur, the Menzies Larkspur ... and probably more.

There is a delphinium picture gallery at the address below.
