Latin to English translations [Non-PRO]
Latin term or phrase:Natus est Augustus
I'm not sure how to translate this because the verb is deponent so it doesn't make sense to me.
Augustus has been born / Augustus was born / Augustus is born
Explanation: Your translation into English will depend very much on the tense context of your text... The actual translation is Augustus is born, but it may be a historical present in latin that will be better served with the most common Augustus was born
Phew! Five years of Latin long time ago... Didn't know I still had it in me... :-)
