Note :
Les colonnes charnues de premier ordre ou piliers du coeur, ou muscles papillaires, donnent insertion aux cordages tendineux des valvules. Les colonnes charnues de deuxième ordre sont unies à la paroi ventriculaire par leurs deux extrémités.
