THE TERM APPEAR IN DECLARATION OF DIVORCE
Agatha Chong
English translation:Pronouncement of Divorce
Explanation:
It is TATLIK, not TAKLIK.

In Islamic law, divorce can be effected (or at least initiated) by the husband's pronouncement of a formulaic statement, in effect saying, "I divorce thee," or "You are hereby divorced."

All the terms that you posted are Arabic in origin, and are used (with various spelling/pronunciation modifications) in many non-Arabic-speaking Muslim countries.

Explanation:
Agatha, you're right, it is taklik. I am not sure whether there exists a particular word in English for taklik.
Divorce is talak.
Taklik is a set of conditions agreed upon by both bride and groom, and is read aloud by the jurunikah or kadhi during the ceremony. The groom may then be asked to pronounce the taklik, or in essence, make a promise/agreement that he will abide by the conditions throughout the marriage.
If either husband or wife goes against the conditions, the divorce that happens is called a taklik divorce.

(An example of the conditions/taklik is: the husband may not abandon the wife for 4 Islamic months or more, continuously, intentionally or due to force..."

I hope this helps.
