hello

Explanation:
It is a universal greeting.

It means "Hello", "Good Morning",
"Good afternoon", "Good evening", "Good
night", or "Good bye".

When you meet a person, you join both
palms and say, "Namaste!". Here, it means
"hello" or "Good morning" or whatever,
depending on the time of the day.

When parting company, you again say
"Namaste!". Here, it means "Good-bye".

Hope that helps.
