Method for measuring Nitrogen content

English translation:TKN
Explanation:
NKJELD refers to TKN (Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen), measured with the Kjeldahl method. However, the HU puzzles me, as it could have a number of meanings (as far as I know). And without more information, I am unable to decipher that one :o)

HU - habitat unit
HU - hydrologic unit
HU - heat unit
HU - unusable

These are some instances where HU have been used in nitrogen contexts, although I suspect \"heat unit\" might be worth looking into in your case. Have a look here to read up on it:

Anyway, without more information, these will just be unaducated guesses :o)
