Can't find an official translation. Will probably have to make one up, unless anyone has come across this before.

neutral  Per Bergvall: Sorry Bill - I'm born and raised in Bergen, and there isn't a Peak District. The seven mountains surrounding Bergen aren't even all in Bergen; some are on islands in the surrounding archipelago. It's a must-see - so plan a visit.

-> I always bow to native-born! And here I was thinking you were an Oslo boy!! And I, coming from New Zealand, wouldn't call any of these "mountains" but I'm careful who I say that to, so you can pretend I didn't say it!! Good luck, Brigid!

I wish i could bring myself to suggest mountain steward, or mountain administrator, without breaking into a fit of giggles, but sorry - I cannot. Feel free to disagree...:-)

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hmmm. I was playing with something along the lines of Steward (or Administrator, which would be safer but less creative) of the Bergen Mountains.

agree  William [Bill] Gray: ... but use "administrator".

-> Like I said - administering a range of seven mountains must surely be a mountainous task, relatively small (by an Everest scale) though they may individually be.
