Norwegian to English translations [Non-PRO]
Norwegian term or phrase: culmaily
Place name. It's not a village, it is actually a single house. Yes I realise it should have a capital. I was searching for the meaning of the word. I believe it has French origins, possibly Norwegian, but I doubt that. Any ideas?

Not with that spelling anyway... And I've turned the word over in my mouth, trying to pronounce it in different ways to see if it sounds like a word I know - but no...

Hi Steve!

Google has several hits on a village in the Scottisch Highlands, but none with Norwegian connection.

Try this one.

Have a nice day!
