Norwegian term or phrase: herskapsbolig
Context - advert for a hotel described as " en gammel, rverdig herskapsbolig"

I know herskapelig (also a TV program)means elegant, luxurious, and bolig is a residence.
Does this make herskapsbolig "luxury residence", or is it more subtle like "manor house" . Any answers welcomed - deadline tightish!!

Thanks
