Natomiast poprzez odwadnianie pacjenta (a jeszcze dożylne) rozumie się po prostu podawanie diuretyków, i dla mnie może nie jest to dosłowne tłumaczenie, bo to podał Grzegorz, ale sensowne oddanie sensu tego, co ten lekarz chciał przekazać. Odwodnić człowieka można jeszcze nie podająć płynów, wywołując biegunkę (czego się nie robi) lub dializą, ale o to również nie chodzi, więc pozostają tylko diuretyki.
