English translation:sorry I couldn't be there when you were leaving. I really didn't want that...
Explanation:
the sentence doesn't seem to have an ending. 'nie chcialem zeby tak' should really be complemented with something, e.g. 'nie chcialem zeby tak sie skonczylo (didn't want it to end like this)'
