No próximo domingo (10/10), a partir das 9h, cerca de 300 pessoas vão cuidar da Praia de Ipanema com um mutirão de limpeza [community clean up and awareness raising group] e conscientização, começando no Arpoador e terminando no Posto 10.
A iniciativa, denominada Oi Novos Urbanos na Praia, dá prosseguimento à comemoração do Dia Mundial de Limpeza da Praia, também promovida pela ONG Surfrider Foundation Brasil, cujo maior objetivo é prestar educação ambiental para a população e proteger o ecossistema costeiro, principalmente as praias e oceanos.
And oxalá they'll be able to get the sewer situation under control at one of the world's most beautiful beaches .... is that lake of sewer still floating back and forth between Arpoador, Ipanema, Leblon and the Estrada da Gavea?
