Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / Real estate purchase/sale agreement
Portuguese term or phrase: parcelas
Hi all,

I'm doing a summary of a real estate agreement and want to make sure I'm understanding it correctly.

Does this mean that the current owners of the property still owe 185,000.00 but that the buyers are now responsible for paying this sum? In other words the property is currently not entirely paid off--the owners are essentially transferring their mortgage to the buyers? And is it also saying that the buyers need to pay off the mortgage in five years?
