context: this is part of a so called 'MOVIMENTAÇÃO PROCESSUAL' as part of the documentation for international cooperation in a criminal case. It could mean 'see information not...' but then I am stuck with the 'PA' Anyone?

PA is the abbreviation for power of attorney = procuração, a word linguistically related to procurado/a. (See L.G. Victorino, Glossário Jurídico (Barueri, SP: Disal, 2009). Hence, if no one looked for (procurou) the information, no information can be provided.

As tempting as it is to invent an abbreviation in English (i.e. VIDE.NO.INFO.PD), no such thing exists - at least not on Google.

I heard this expression while watching a late-night movie (after posting my original suggestion) and thought it might fit - so I did some research and it very well might. See detailed explanation on the following site:

A final note, and sorry to have done this in so many steps, but having been on proz for only a month, I'm still getting used to the boxes and correct etiquette. SO: This afternoon I called a friend, a former batallion commander with the military police in Rio. While not acquainted with the term /PA/, he said the logic was sound, for during criminal proceedings, information is often withheld to protect the offender, the victim, a witness, a lawyer, even the judge. On judicial order, it may be released at a future date, which is what makes the PA/AP (at present) important.

As a next step, I searched for an /at present/ acronym in English, and look what I found:

So in a last attempt to create an expression similar to the original, how about VIDE.NO.INFO.AP ???
