elementary, middle and high school students Explanation: Primeiro grau covers the equivalent of the first 8 grades in the US. Segundo grau is high school. Very recently some of this has been renamed, but primeiro and segundo grau will be with us for quite awhile. I don't know whether quadra de esportes is indoor or outdoor, I suspect it's indoor. |

Elementary, Middle and High School, sports fields outside Explanation: Primary - kids start when day are 6-9 Middle School - kids are around 10 to 14 High School in Brazil has only 3 years and students finish around the age of 17 Trust me, I went to school in Brazil After High School students choose their majors and have to attempt passing Vestibular. It’s a major several days testing that will enable students to enter college. |
