Portuguese term or phrase:meninos bonitos
In a text that refers to Portuguese values, one of these is to instil good manners etc in children (crianças). The use of the above, i.e. meninos as opposed to crianças, has it any connotations?
The sentence is........... uma caracteristaica a promover para serem meninos bonitos...
