Portuguese term or phrase: confirmation (1) Brazil - business subtleties
I need to confirm:

Regulado pela Lei das S.A. E ÚNICA AINDA EM USO no Brasil

Regulated by the Law of Limited Companies and....
THE ONLY ONE IN USE in Brazil
OR
STILL IN USE ONLY in Brazil/ONLY IN USE in Brazil

The first seems unlikely but I have to be sure, because there's an important difference.

English translation:the only one STILL IN EFFECT (or still IN FORCE) in Brazil
Explanation:
The Corporation Law (Lei das Sociedades Anonimas) was enacted in 1976, I believe, and it's still in effect. Its number may be 6476.

I screwed up on this Q. The entire sentence (with TWO feminine nouns) was "Comandita por Açoes: Regulada pela Lei das SA e unica ainda em uso no Brasil" I assumed that the 'unica' referred to Comandita, but now the doubt is WHICH it refers to! The 'Comadita' or the 'Lei'

Corporation Act - the only one still in use in Brazil

Explanation:
I would certainly like more context for this one.

Careful: an SA is not a Limited Company (Companhia Limitada)

e única ainda em uso no Brasil

Explanation:
Ailish,

the translation of the expression " e unica ainda em uso no Brazil" is:

( the) only one still in use in Brazil.

meaning that its the only one (law) that is still being aplied in Brazil.

Espero que ajude e boa sorte!

'the only one in use in Brazil' seria:
"e única em uso no Brasil"

'still in use only in Brasil' seria:
"e ainda em uso apenas no Brasil"

'only in use in Brazil' seria:
"e apenas em uso no Brasil"

Explanation:
Sorry, had not noticed you have a European background. SA is PLC, of course.
