Portuguese term or phrase: Termo
I have a Brazilian marriage certificate with the following phrase:

8° Subdistrito – Santana – do Distrito de São Paulo, do Município, Termo e Comarca da Capital do Estado de São Paulo

Têrmo looks like it has a circunflex over the 'e' but I can't be sure.
Any ideas what 'Termo' would mean in this context?

thanks
