Tech/Engineering - Energy / Power Generation / Tender for Electricity Corporation
Portuguese term or phrase: BPAF (in context of overvoltage or surge protectors)
I'm busy with a legal text but being a tender in the energy sector there are inevitably some technical terms.

Afraid I have no further context, this is just a standalone item in brackets after overvoltage protectors (OVP) as a component in a metering facility.

I've established it probably stands for "Bloco Privativo de Assinante com Fusível"

I'm looking for the stock term in EN as I need to find the corresponding abbreviation and despite trying combos with the individual words can't lay my fingers on it.

Explanation:
I would look into it more, but I have another engagement... thought I'd give you this to work with in the meantime:

including the application and installation of subscriber primary protectors and applicable grounding techniques. Supplemental information with respect to installations at customer locations is included in RUS Bulletins 345-52 and 345-154.

The same text describes fused and fuseless protectors. I didn't have time to look for acronymns (maybe you can invent one when you decide on the exact phrase).
