Portuguese to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law (general) / Phases or events in a hearing
Portuguese term or phrase:juntar documento - movimento de junção
I'm translating a report on a court case. I’m having trouble documenting six terms in a timeline of events. This is one of them.
Am I right in thinking this means something like "file a document - document submission process"?
Explanation: If you were saying 'juntar um documento', then it would be 'attach a document'. If you were saying 'juntar o documento', then it would be 'attach the document'. Since you are saying 'juntar documento', we can only use 'attach documents'.
This 'movimento de juncao' would literally be 'attachment movement'. I need more context. If this is, for instance, a robot, then we may be talking about 'attachment sequence' or even 'attachment moves'.
