Portuguese term or phrase: trolha diantera ou traseira
it is some part of the bike that I cannot imagine what it could be

English translation:front and rear pegs
Explanation:
The only sites I can find using this terminology with bikes are all for the same model:
"8-Pedaleiras Pro X, dianteira modelo trolha e traseira trolhão, em aço carbono recartilhado."
http://www.submarino.com.br/sport_productdetails.asp?Query=&...

So it seems like trolha (trowel) originally described a type/style of peg (pedaleira). There's no style of bmx peg described in English as "trowel pegs"--a pretty wild guess is that trolha/trowel is being used to describe the diamond-shaped cross-hatching on certain types of bmx pegs? (because a trowel is in the shape of a diamond?)

Just a theory.
